About Me

I'm Danielle Ashe, a cross-functional retail strategist and copywriter with over a decade of experience leading merchandising initiatives at consumer-focused lifestyle brands and omnichannel retailers. My expertise lies at the intersection of creativity and strategic analysis.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from VCU with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, I spent nearly a decade serving as a Buyer and Product Developer for luxury menswear retailer Ben Silver. In the years since, I've aided Lily Kanter (Co-Founder of Serena & Lily) in launching several brands. These opportunities have fostered a deep appreciation for the joys and challenges of entrepreneurship.

I currently serve as the General Manager of Averylily, a home collection by Lily Kanter and interior designer Avery Solmssen. In this role, I’ve built and continue to manage our e-commerce site, email marketing, wholesale and trade relationships, distribution, and everything in between.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring the city's exceptional culinary scene–often with my rescue dog, Blue.
